Yesterday Pyramid landed in a very flattering second place in the "Agencies with SEK 25-50 million in turnover" category of the Agency of the Year competition, which also means that Pyramid ranked highest among participating B2B agencies. Pyramid was also the only advertising agency in southern Sweden to place in the competition.
Agency of the Year is Sweden’s most comprehensive study of the industry and is conducted by the research and strategy company Regi in cooperation with Dagens Industri. Around 500 communication agencies in Sweden take part.
Agency of the Year designates the best agency in fifteen categories. The winner in each category is the agency receiving the highest overall marks in survey responses from nearly 3000 buyers of agency services. It is thus clients (only) who determine which agency is best.
“It’s thrilling that our clients once again rank us as Sweden’s best B2B agency, and moreover among the very best in Sweden, consumer agencies included,” says Ulf Vanselius, CEO of Pyramid.
“We have a principle of only participating in competitions where the client’s opinion decides, and where an agency’s business-related contributions to the client’s success are evaluated over time, not on the basis of individual advertising creations. This is actually the seventh year in a row that we’ve ranked highest among so-called business-to-business agencies. It’s a great honor and a confirmation that we’re doing many things right,” Vanselius continues.
“95% of what we produce is intended for markets other than the Swedish market, which is why we are almost never seen in Swedish media. We receive more and more strategic assignments from global companies who think that we stack up well compared to agencies in the U.S. and Europe,” concludes Vanselius.
