For the seventh year in a row, Pyramid Communication has earned a top ranking in the Agency of the Year competition, conducted by Regi in collaboration with Dagens Industri. The nominated agencies were presented today in Dagens Industri, and Pyramid is the only large advertising agency in southern Sweden among them.
Agency of the Year designates the best agency in 11 categories. The winner in each category is the agency receiving the highest overall marks in survey responses from agency clients. Around 500 agencies participated, of which 202 passed the qualification requirements and were evaluated by over 2000 participating buyers of agency services. The competition will be decided at Stockholm Waterfront on February 19.
“Of course we are happy for the nomination,” says Ulf Vanselius, CEO of Pyramid. “In 2009 we were designated Agency of the Year in the category of medium-sized advertising agencies. In 2010 we took the step up into the large agency category, where the competition is even tougher, and we have been the highest-ranked B2B agency the last two years.
“The nomination itself is proof that we are in the top tier of Sweden’s advertising agencies, but of course we hope for a position among the very best.
“95% of what we produce is destined for markets other than the Swedish market, which is why we are almost never seen in the Swedish media. We work with around 30 Swedish and international companies, most of whom are world leaders in their respective niches, and we are increasingly engaged in strategic assignments for global companies who think that we measure up well with our counterparts in the U.S. and Europe,” concludes Vanselius.
