ABS Group AB, with head office in Malmö, recently chose Pyramid Communication AB as its new agency partner. Amongst other things, the assignment covers a new market positioning of ABS and an upcoming global product launch.
ABS is a world-leading supplier of solutions within wastewater handling and cleaning, with sales companies in more than 30 countries. The company is a global supplier with a complete product portfolio comprising pumps, mixers, aerators, compressors, monitoring and control equipment, and service.
“Pyramid showed that it was best at answering our needs of a strategic communication partner with the right competence and resources to carry out international assignments,” says Maria Bergving, Communication Director within Cardo/ABS.
“The assignment is completely in line with out competence profile and we look forward to close cooperation where we have the privilege of actively participating in the development of such an international and expansive company as ABS,” says Ulf Vanselius, Managing Director of Pyramid.”
“Right now Pyramid is enjoying a strongly positive phase and we have succeeded well with our offensive investment in warding off the tough economic situation,” continues Ulf Vanselius. “The first quarter of 2009 was one of our economically strongest ever, the main reason being that we have begun activities with about 10 new clients. In addition to ABS, we are now working with two new divisions of Atlas Copco and with Carpenova, DIAB, EuroMaint, Norden Machinery, Peab and Rymdbolaget. Moreover, within a couple of weeks we will announce cooperation with a further number of larger companies.
In principle, this means that we have already secured our revenue for 2009 and can now invest fully in further strengthening our position as Sweden’s most international agency.”
