JBT Corporation is a global player in food and transportation technology headquartered in Chicago. The company is listed on the NYSE. At the end of October 2007, FMC Technologies, headquartered in Houston, Texas, announced that it intended to spin off the FoodTech and Airport Systems divisions into a separate, listed company. In competition with leading, multinational brand agencies, Pyramid Communication was commissioned, in collaboration with company management, to develop a brand and marketing strategy to launch the new company.
